Teach The Word Faithfully
What does it truly mean to connect others to God? At the heart of that question lies a responsibility we all share: faithfully handling and sharing the Word of God. Drawing from 2 Timothy 4:1-5, where Paul delivers one of the most urgent charges in all of Scripture, we are reminded that teaching the Word is not reserved for pastors or seminary graduates. It belongs to every one of us. Paul's command to preach the Word carries the full weight of God's authority, and that authority extends to every believer who opens Scripture with someone else. We are all ambassadors of a message that is not our own, and our role is simply to deliver it faithfully. Just as we devoted years to learning our professions, we are called to devote ourselves to knowing God's Word well enough to answer the hard questions, offer the right encouragement, and gently correct what needs correcting. The stakes could not be higher. Pointing someone toward or away from the gospel has eternal consequences that far outweigh anything else we do in this life. This is not a message that should leave us feeling overwhelmed. It should leave us feeling called.
